Mansion of Terror Haunted House
(Austin - September, 2006): The Mansion of Terror, Central Texas's premier Haunted House has chosen the Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas as its charity of choice this year. As we reported earlier the Mansion of Terror was voted #! Haunted House in the Country by Lions Gate Films for 2005.
Every year The Mansion of Terror Haunted House has chosen a local charity and has donated time and money to the organization. "I am really excited to partner with Dell's Children's. Our donations will go directly to help build a world class hospital devoted to pediatric care here in Central Texas" said owner Norm Glenn. The Mansion of Terror will be donating 5% of their total profit to the building fund.

Children's Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas raises funds to support the new Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas. The Foundation's full spectrum of development activities includes grants, private donations, local and national corporate support, and many local fundraising events. The new Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas will be a hospital like no other. Scheduled to open in June 2007 to replace the current Children's Hospital of Austin, it will be the only hospital in our 46-county region totally devoted to pediatric care.
Dell Children's will be almost triple the size of the current Children's Hospital. On its 32-acre site, it will offer pediatric inpatient rehabilitation, a mobility gym, fully wireless technology, more play and activity rooms, a healing garden, and family-friendly patient rooms. Dell Children's is registered with the United States Green Building Council and hopes to attain the highest level certification as a "green" building.
For 2006 the Mansion of Terror is back in a new location in North Austin. It's now located on I-35 at the edge of Austin and Round Rock at exit 251 in Sky Ridge Plaza behind Taco Cabana. Opening a new level of fear to all the residents of Central and North Austin.
In their third season, cast and crew of the Mansion of Terror have really been working overtime to make it Central Texas' top attraction for the Halloween Season. Glenn says "With the new space and two new attractions we hope to shatter our pervious attendance record and donate thousands of dollars to benefit the Dell Children's Medical Center."

The rude little girl from Northcross Mall was back this year. Last year she insulted my friends and me, but you guys failed to fire this idiotic bitch. I know you remember us. Anyway, outside of having the idiot back, the show was good. Finally, we went this evening and she was standing near the exit door when we left. I elected not to pop-off to the little girl.
