The Mansion of Terror Haunted House Wins Top Haunt Honors

The Mansion of Terror, Central Texas’s premier Haunted House recently won the Lions Gate Films “Best Haunted House in America Content”. Being the top Haunted House in this national contest netted the Mansion of Terror a $5,000 cash prize. The contest was sponsored by Lions Gate Films to help promote their Halloween movie blockbuster “Saw II”.

The Mansion of Terror used extensive marketing materials, trained actors and Hollywood style props to really make the film come alive to its customers. Owner Norm Glenn says “We are especially excited about winning the Lions Gate Film competition; we’ve taken our prize and really invested in making the Haunted House even better than before.”

For 2006 the Mansion of Terror is back in a new location in North Austin. It’s now located on I-35 at the edge of Austin and Round Rock at exit 251 in Sky Ridge Plaza behind Taco Cabana. Opening a new level of fear to all the residents of Central and North Austin.

In their third season cast and crew of Mansion of Terror have really been working overtime to make it Central Texas’ top attraction for the Halloween Season.
